Round Table is constantly evolving. Our motto is ‘Adopt, Adapt, Improve’ and we have been Adopting, Adapting & Improving since 1927.
Round Table UK has thousands of members who meet up every couple of weeks to have fun, have a pint and get involved in their local communities.
Most local Round Tables get together to do everything from paint-balling to a game of football, or even something as simple a drink at the pub followed by a curry. These evenings are the essence of Round Table – bringing together groups of friends for beer and banter.
Each local Round Table organises its own annual community events. These can vary from club to club, ranging from carnivals and bonfires for tens of thousands of people, to fun runs and barbeques.
We get involved in local communities, putting something back, and making a real difference.
If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, come and see for yourself or drop us a line.
Some of our members
I joined SART when I was new to the area and wanted to meet some people of my own age group. I enjoy the camaraderie and the wide range of activities that we participate in. It’s also great to raise money for good causes in the area.
I joined Round Table in 2013 to meet new people in and around St. Albans. I enjoy meeting every couple of weeks to try new activities, eat in a local restaurant and an have a beer.
Having lived in St Albans for 10 years, I wanted to meet people outside my usual circle of work friends
Moving to St Albans, I decided to join the Round Table. This provided me with a “ready-made” group of friends which I enjoy meeting every couple if weeks over a beer or to do activities I wouldn’t otherwise do. I also enjoy the fact that we do make a difference though our local charity involvement.
