2011 – A record breaking year for Round Table’s Santa in St Albans

Christmas 2011 has been the most successful ever for St Albans Round Table. Round Table and the charities it supports raised an incredible £13,548.76 thanks to the generosity of the people of St Albans giving money to Santa and his elves as he toured the streets of the city throughout December. Christmas Eve was another record breaker – our best ever take on a single route of over £1,300 donated in St Michael’s.

The money raised by Round Table will go towards supporting needy causes throughout the year and to provided christmas hampers for the less fortunate households of St Albans next year.

Other charities supported include Homestart, Youthtalk, Rotary, Grove House, Reach Out, 41 Club and St Albans Circle.

A big thank you from all of us at St Albans Round Table, and look out for Santa again in December 2012.
