Another successful year...despite the snow

Father Christmas, aboard his flashing red sleigh and with his merry band of caped helpers passed through the streets of St Albans and Rebourn playing cheerful Christmas carols and collecting those extra pennies & pounds for local charities. Despite the initial problems with the float, and then the heavy snowfalls before Christmas, we managed to still do a few collection routes and raised a very respectable £6,800! We even managed to do a new route through the Napsbury Estate.

With the money we raised, we were able to donate over 50 Christmas parcels to those in need of some cheer over the snowy Christmas period, and help a number of charities raise much needed funds for projects in 2010. So, to all those who were kind enough to spare a pound or two, thank you for supporting the people of St Albans who need it the most.

If you have any questions about the charities we collect for, the routes we follow or want to just join in the fun, email the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , Stuart Stafford.
