About us

Round Table is constantly evolving. Our motto is ‘Adopt, Adapt, Improve’ and we have been Adopting, Adapting & Improving since 1927.

Round Table UK has thousands of members who meet up every couple of weeks to have fun, have a pint and get involved in their local communities.

Most local Round Tables get together to do everything from paint-balling to a game of football, or even something as simple a drink at the pub followed by a curry. These evenings are the essence of Round Table – bringing together groups of friends for beer and banter.

Each local Round Table organises its own annual community events. These can vary from club to club, ranging from carnivals and bonfires for tens of thousands of people, to fun runs and barbeques.

We get involved in local communities, putting something back, and making a real difference.
If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, come and see for yourself or drop us a line.

I joined St Albans Round Table in 2018 as I had moved to the area and really wanted some local mates. Have met some awesome guys and we have a great laugh every couple of weeks as well as help local charities.

Helping to support local charities and organisations is an area that is very close to my heart and it is great to give something back to the community.

I joined Round Table as I was new to the area and it was a great way to meet like minded people. Some of my greatest friends and best memories have come from being a member, particularly our recent international trip to Germany. I describe Round Table as a ‘social club with a conscience’ as besides all the fun activities we get up to, we also give back by raising funds and getting involved in the local community.

Living in St Albans all my life, I’ve seen the Christmas Float many times – a few years ago I reached out to the round table to help out. Knowing nothing about it, I was invited along to a meet and greet evening to meet a couple of members and was left wanting to find out more so asked if I can go along again and did then end up helping out at Christmas. Anyone who’s not sure what Round Table is, itis a group of local and international friends that get together and help out whoever that can.
