See our members below – why not get to know as out next meeting? We are looking for new members!
I joined Round Table in 2015 to get involved in my local community but I’ve particularly enjoyed the social side of it, from trying out new pubs and restaurants to taking part in fun activities like indoor skydiving and electric go-karting, helping out at a beer festival, visiting other clubs abroad, or just meeting up for a few beers. It’s been a blast!
Living in St Albans all my life, I’ve seen the Christmas Float many times – a few years ago I reached out to the round table to help out. Knowing nothing about it, I was invited along to a meet and greet evening to meet a couple of members and was left wanting to find out more so asked if I can go along again and did then end up helping out at Christmas. Anyone who’s not sure what Round Table is, itis a group of local and international friends that get together and help out whoever that can.
I joined St Albans Round Table in 2018 as I had moved to the area and really wanted some local mates. Have met some awesome guys and we have a great laugh every couple of weeks as well as help local charities.
I joined Round Table in 2013 to meet new people in and around St. Albans. I enjoy meeting every couple of weeks to try new activities, eat in a local restaurant and an have a beer.
Growing up in St. Albans, it wasn’t truly Christmas in our house until we had seen the Round Table Christmas float and so when the opportunity arose to actually be a part of it I jumped at the chance. Helping to support local charities and organisations is an area that is very close to my heart and it is great to give something back to the community.
I joined Round Table as I was new to the area and it was a great way to meet like minded people. Some of my greatest friends and best memories have come from being a member, particularly our recent international trip to Germany. I describe Round Table as a ‘social club with a conscience’ as besides all the fun activities we get up to, we also give back by raising funds and getting involved in the local community.
Having lived in St Albans for 10 years, I wanted to meet people outside my usual circle of work friends
